Personhood is described as the status or condition of being a person. According to John Noonan, a fetus has a right to life from the moment of conception. Mary Anne Warren, however, claims it does not. Keeping both the criteria and the arguments for personhood by John Noonan as well as by Mary Ann Warren is concerned; I find the criteria for personhood and right to life of a fetus by John Noonan to be more plausible. As per John Noonan's position, personhood is applicable from the moment one is conceived by human parents. He advocated the belief that the basis on which it could be determined if someone is a person has to be conception as it is the only way that is morally relevant and is not arbitrary or vague. He believed in the Pro-Life concept.
